100 Days of School = 100 Days of Fun!!

We just celebrated our 100th day and boy was it fun!  My kindergarten class was so excited to have been in school for 100 days!

( writing our name as many times as we can in 100 seconds)

Prior to the 100th day, each student and their families created their own 100 day posters at home.  Students creatively pasted 100 objects on posters to create their 100th day display.  Our displays ranged from 100 pom-poms to create a minion, 100 Swedish fish to create the Superman symbol, and a completed 100 piece puzzle.

On the 100th day, our class completed many different activities to celebrate including: taking 100 steps around the school, counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100, writing their name as many times as they could in 100 seconds, and transforming their faces to 100 year old faces.

The class also enjoyed 100th day cupcakes, sang 100th day songs, and read 100th day books.   Overall, students practiced counting to 100 many times throughout the day and enjoyed celebrating their first 100 days in kindergarten!
